Oakham Boys ride for Salaam Shalom Kitchen

Boys from Oakham School in Rutland took part in a sponsored bike ride around Rutland Water and raised an incredible £2,535 for SaSH.

Their website says…

“Over 130 pupils with their parents and siblings, together with members of staff gathered early on Sunday morning to take part in the ride. Cycling in small groups leaving at timed intervals, some chose to navigate their way around one lap of the 27-kilometre circuit, whilst others even managed the additional challenge of cycling a second lap with the Hambleton Peninsula thrown in for good measure! Whatever the distance tackled, everyone showed great teamwork and camaraderie to successfully complete their chosen route.”
